Dive into an unprecedented sensory discovery with our soap “Sweet Delight”. Blending enchanting aromas of cinnamon and orange with the velvety softness of raw milk, this soap is much more than just a cleaning product. It’s an invitation to an olfactory escape where Eastern warmth meets festive spirit.

1. Raw Milk or Pasteurised Milk – What’s the difference for your skin?

The distinction between raw milk and heat-treated milk is essential, particularly for their various impacts on the health of our skin.

Raw milk, untreated except for refrigeration after milking on the farm, is a treasure trove of nutrients for our skin. It contains about 87% water, 4.8% carbohydrates, 4.2% fats, 3.2% proteins, 0.7% minerals and trace elements (including 120 mg of calcium) and vitamins (A, D, B…). Furthermore, it is rich in beneficial fats for skin hydration and nutrition.

In contrast, pasteurised milk, which represents 3% of the market, is heated to 72°C for 15 seconds and then cooled down to below 6°C. This method destroys a large part of the nutrients and beneficial enzymes present in raw milk.

UHT sterilised milk, on the other hand, undergoes ultra-high temperature sterilisation (140°C for 2 seconds) which eliminates even more nutrients. This type of milk accounts for 95% of the milk market today.

Due to these thermal treatments, pasteurised milk and UHT milk contain much less calcium, protein, minerals and vitamins than raw milk. Their fat content is also lower, as they are standardised to contain a certain percentage of fat. The very nature of the lipids is also altered due to the use of these very high temperatures.

By choosing to use raw milk in our “Sweet Delight” soap, at Alinessence, we take advantage of the rich composition of raw milk to provide your skin with all the nutrients it needs. Furthermore, we respect the natural cycle of milk production, with a peak in volume and quality in spring, when cows feed on fresh forage and produce milk richer in Omega 3.

The use of raw milk in our “Sweet Delight” soap at Alinessence is not only beneficial for your skin, but also for the environment. Raw milk, refrigerated immediately after milking on the farm, undergoes no high-temperature treatment. This means that less energy is used for its production, compared to pasteurised or UHT milk which require intensive heating.

Moreover, by respecting the natural cycle of milk production, with a peak in spring when cows feed on fresh forage, we support more sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices.

Thus, the choice of raw milk for our soap “Délice Sucré” reflects our commitment not only to quality and skincare but also to sustainability and environmental protection. It is a way for us to show that high-end and ethics can go hand in hand in skincare.

2. Choice of milk: Cow, goat, sheep or donkey?

Cow's milk

Cow's milk is a classic choice, providing an optimal balance between hydration and nutrition. By choosing raw milk in spring, cow's milk is rich in omega-3, essential for skin health. It also contains beneficial bacteria such as lactobacilli and bifidobacteria that produce lactic acid, beneficial for the skin.

Goat's milk

Its fat content is equivalent to cow's milk, goat's milk is often well tolerated by people with sensitive skin. It is rich in vitamins and minerals essential for the skin.

Sheep's milk

Sheep's milk is the richest in fat among these three types of milk, making it particularly nourishing for the skin. It also contains more vitamins, minerals, and proteins than cow's or goat's milk.

Donkey's milk

Renowned for its composition similar to that of breast milk, donkey's milk is often perceived as a luxurious option in skincare. It is low in fat and casein, making it more digestible, and is rich in essential vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, D, C, E) for undeniable dermatological benefits.

However, the use of donkey milk in cosmetic products is not without controversy. Due to its limited production (2 to 4 litres of milk per day per donkey), donkey milk is often processed into powder to be used in cosmetic products.

This processing diminishes the quality of the milk, depriving it of its precious nutrients and beneficial properties for the skin. Furthermore, the donkey milk industry is often linked to ethical issues, such as the overexploitation of animals.

At Alinessence, our choice to use raw cow's milk in our “Sweet Delight” soap is driven by our desire to provide your skin with the highest quality care, while respecting our ethical and environmental values.

3. Soap “Sweet Delight”: A cocktail of hydration and nutrition for your skin

Our “Sweet Delight” soap at Alinessence is not just a cleansing product; it is a true cocktail of hydration and nutrition for your skin. Formulated with 20% organic raw cow's milk, this soap offers your skin all the benefits of the essential nutrients contained in this milk.

Raw milk, rich in fats and packed with vitamins, minerals, and proteins, provides intense nutrition for your skin. The fats nourish the skin, leaving it soft and supple, while the vitamins and minerals work to improve the overall health of your skin. Raw cow's milk is also rich in lactic acid, a natural exfoliant that helps remove dead skin cells, revealing softer and more radiant skin.

Furthermore, the addition of essential oils of cinnamon, orange, and raw milk contributes to a delicately spiced and sweet fragrance, transforming your skincare routine into a truly delightful experience. Cinnamon has antiseptic properties that help cleanse the skin, while orange adds a touch of sweetness.

But that's not all, the “Sweet Delight” soap is also beneficial for skin issues such as acne and dry skin. The richness of raw milk in lactic acid (from the AHA family, see our article on scrubs) prevents acne breakouts, while its fat content deeply nourishes dry skin.

In summary, the “Sweet Delight” soap is a delicate experience that is good for your skin. With its rich and nourishing formula, it is much more than just a soap – it is a treatment for your skin.

4. Our commitment to quality and ethics

At Alinessence, we have made quality and ethics our cornerstones. As a company specialising in high-quality skincare, we firmly believe that beauty goes hand in hand with respect for our bodies and our planet.

Commitment to quality

We carefully select all our ingredients to ensure they are of the highest quality. From the raw cow's milk used in our “Sweet Delight” soap to the essential oils we incorporate for their multiple skin benefits, each element is chosen for its exceptional properties and purity. We have also chosen to avoid preservatives, ensuring that our products are as natural as possible.

Commitment to ethics

Our concern for ethics is reflected in every aspect of our business. We ensure that the cow's milk we use is sourced ethically, respecting the welfare of the animal and the environment. Furthermore, we craft all our products artisanally, ensuring that every step of their production is controlled and meets our high standards.

As you will have noticed, our goal at Alinessence is to provide skincare that is not only effective but also ethical and of high quality. We believe that by adhering to these principles, we can help our clients feel beautiful, inside and out.

5. Precautions with essential oils: Children and pregnant women

At Alinessence, the safety of our clients is our priority. Although our products are made from natural ingredients, some of them, such as essential oils, may not be suitable for everyone.

Due to the presence of cinnamon essential oil in our “Sweet Delight” soap, we advise against its use for pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as for children under 5 years old. Essential oils, while they have many benefits for the skin, can pose risks for these specific groups.

6. In Conclusion

At Alinessence, we firmly believe that skincare should not involve a compromise between effectiveness, quality, ethics, and safety. Our “Sweet Delight” soap, made with raw cow's milk and enriched with essential oils, is proof of this commitment.

We invite you to discover the wonderful benefits of raw milk for the skin and to experience the exquisite sensation of a soap that nourishes, hydrates, and respects it. Furthermore, by choosing Alinessence, you support a company that values animal welfare, ethics, and respect for the environment.

At Alinessence, we are proud to offer you skincare products that are both high-end and ethical. We thank you for being part of this journey with us.
